On Air

Presenter / Co-Host
These roles are for people with previous on-air experience (community, commercial, student, hospital, or online — all welcome). We’re looking for confident broadcasters who can deliver a great show to a high standard.

Production

Producer / Show Assistant
Help shape great content: planning, running orders, guest booking, show prep, and supporting presenters. Training provided.

Office Based

Researchers / Content Producers / Social Media
If you love finding stories, writing, planning content, or keeping socials active and engaging, we’d love to hear from you. Training provided.

Technical

Studio / Audio / Streaming / Events
Support the station’s sound and reliability — from studio setup and audio quality, to streaming and event tech. If you’re practical and calm under pressure, you’ll fit right in. Training provided.

Events

Street Team / Event Support
Be the face of Hot Radio out in the community: helping at outside broadcasts, local events, promotions, and listener engagement. Training provided.

Commercial

Sponsorship & Fundraising
Help us grow sustainably by building relationships with local businesses and community partners. If you’re confident speaking to people, and you love a win-win conversation, this could be ideal. Training provided.

What we’re looking for

• Friendly, reliable people who communicate well
• A genuine interest in the local community and local stories
• A willingness to learn (and ask questions)
• The ability to commit to what you take on — even if it’s just a few hours a month
